On June 18th, Riley Steinman (18) was crowned Miss Kansas Teen USA 2023. Raised in the Sunflower State, Riley is excited to represent Kansas and serve those in her community. She played soccer for two years, and was a cheerleader for 7 years. Riley even served as Captain of her cheer squad for one year of high school. Also focused on academics, Riley was a member of the National Honors Society throughout high school. With no pageant experience, she decided to trade in her cleats for heels and give the pageant a shot. GOAL achieved!
Currently, Riley is a hair stylist working at one of the top salons in Kansas City specializing in textured hair. Riley went to Eudora High School while simultaneously attending cosmetology school in order to graduate early and be on a fast track to her dream career. She hopes to one day open her own salon, travel the world to teach other stylists how to work with textured hair, and help women learn to love their natural beauty.
Riley is very passionate about encouraging others to feel confident in their own skin. With the event CURL Power, she brings moms and young girls into her salon and shows them how to properly style and take care of their natural hair, no matter the texture, length, or color. Her skills and passion to impact young women, help girls learn to love and be proud of their curls.
Riley loves to be involved in her community and is always willing to lend a helping hand. If you would like to request her for an appearance please see the form below.
